ABOUT US

Operating under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General
since 2012, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) mobilizes
scientific and technical expertise to support sustainable development at the
local, national and global levels. We are a small but mighty team consisting of
policy leaders, program managers, data scientists, professors and operations
experts promoting integrated approaches to the interconnected economic, social,
and environmental challenges confronting the world. The SDSN mobilizes
expertise from a global network of more than 1,400 member institutions and
works closely with United Nations agencies, academia, and civil society.

The SDSN is hosted by the SDSN Association, a 501(c)(3)
organization based in New York.

information for a rigorous scientific assessment of the state of the diverse
Amazon ecosystems, trends and implications for long-term well-being of the
region, as well as explore opportunities and policy relevant options for
conservation and sustainable development of the Amazon.

high-quality data to guide and spur progress and helping to ensure that the
data revolution is grounded in strong expertise and evidence to achieve its
promise of sustainable development for all.

The Lancet COVID-19
Commission

The Lancet COVID-19 Commission
is an
interdisciplinary initiative across the health sciences, business, finance, and
public policy. The work of the Commission has four main themes:

  • Recommendations on how to best
    suppress the epidemic.
  • Addressing the humanitarian crises
    arising from the pandemic.
  • Addressing the financial and
economic crises resulting from the pandemic.
  • Rebuilding an inclusive, fair and
    sustainable world.

The work of the Commission will be supported by twelve task
forces, in areas ranging from vaccine development, to safe workplaces, to
global economic recovery.

websites, social media accounts and channels, e-newsletters, press releases,
